This is exactly the kind of hat I tend to wear with the added benefit of having a torch in the front of it. It's not exactly a new concept but this is the first time I've seen one and actually thought it was worth getting.The torch part sits firmly into the hat and can be popped out to recharge using a USB socket. The USB connection is quite flimsy though and I find that I need to look for a spot to rest it down in order to charge it meaning the USB sockets in my wall chargers tend not to surfice. Maybe the USB connection is firm enough to take the weight of the light but I certainly don't trust it.The light itself has 3 settings (4 if you include off). It's simple enough to use, you just press the front of the light to cycle through each setting.The hat itself is just a generic beanie style hat made of 35% acrylic, 65% polyester. Nothing particularly notable and comfy to wear.I always forget how great a head torch can be, especially for camping. You don't have to think about where to point the torch as it automatically turns to where you are looking. The one downside to this over a proper head torch is that this is fixed into the hat in a set position. Meaning you can't angle it down towards the ground when you are talking to people in order to avoid blinding them. If, like me you have no friends, then this isn't an issue.

The Beanie is a lovely pink and is so soft. The lamp/ light hasn’t been tested yet (Christmas present) but it looks impressive.

Brilliant little invention. Charges quick. I wanted something to help light my way to my garage in the dark mornings/evenings. Perfect. Light pops out for charging and ease of washing the hat. Value for money. Stretchy.

I have a couple of these and we basically use them for late night dog walks. They are great - the light is plenty bright enough for what I need and the hat itself is nice and warm. The battery lasts for ages as well, which I appreciate.No complaints! These are especially helpful in the winter.
