Put simply, the switch is for 4 peripherals to be connected to 2 computers.The big downside is the build quality. The sleeve is quite loose and the adapter, itself, is rather tight, so when you pull on the sleeve 90% of the time, you just pull off the sleeve. As a result, you will start wiggling the adapter to get it off in one piece.Don't! You risk damaging the port. That said, you can simply keep the sleeve off, at the cost of aesthetics.Objectively, this is still a good price, but relative to other products, maybe too expensive or too poor in quality, you be the judge.

USB adapter for a USB-C male cable, 2.0 only 480mbps, no USB 3.0 support, so a slow USB-C female to USB-A male adapter. One adapter only value takes a hit at 3.39 quid. Used for USB-C inputs to a USB-A male port, so good for cables to plug in consoles, power banks, but skip MagSafe, iPad Pro, or video, just a basic USB 2.0 adapter nothing fancy. However, It looks sleek, fits in the pocket like a coin, and feels robust, but I wish it had USB 3.0 that would've made it worth 1 quid.

I received a pack of three USB-C to USB-A adapters for use with a card reader that I connect between two laptops. The card reader has a USB-C plug, which works fine with my newer laptop, but I needed an adapter for my older laptop. Although I haven't conducted any speed tests, everything seems to be functioning well, and I haven't noticed any decrease in speed when using this adapter.The adapters appear to be well-made and are reasonably priced.

I needed and adaptor to turn a USB C into an A. And I thought I'd better get more than one just to be on the safe side. Three of them for £4 (at time of writing) seems like a pretty good deal to me. And they just plain work.Do take note that these are USB 2.0 adaptors, so you ought not to try running and external drive or stream video over these. But yeah, they do an excellent job.I have a couple of keyboards with attached USB C cables, which I wanted to plug into USB 2.0 A-shaped ports, without wasting a higher-powered faster USB 3 port. With these on the ends of the cables, I never have to think about them again. You certainly feel the benefit of the aluminium casing as it just feels nice.

With more cables moving to USB-C, these are great little adapter to use with the older USB-A socket which I have open my wall sockets, they are quite compact but simple and effective, well made and good value for money.

These are great - it keeps my new USB-C tech compatible with my old MacBook which uses the USB-A sockets.The fixing is positive and the cables haven't fallen out, so the connections are good. Downloading photos and videos from my phone, I had no corrupted or lost files.They are metal, not plastic, and look durable.At £3.99 it is cheaper than buying a whole new set of C to A cables for my devices.OVERALL - I like these - and would be happy to get them again.
