Large selection of cedar bits to ward off the moths and freshen up my wardrobe. Have done what the instructions recommend: sand down and use. Pictures of some in use. As to whether they ward off the moths… time will tell.

My mother used to use traditional moth balls made from harmful chemicals such as naphthalene and with a smell I detest as much as moths presumably do.  The modern and equally effective alternative used today is natural cedar which has a delightfully woody scent although this doesn't seem to transfer to clothing, linens or fabrics it is protecting.The natural cedar scent can be smelled on opening this boxed set which includes a range of cedar rings for slotting over coat hangers plus cedar cubes and balls for popping into open baskets or shelves where natural fabrics are stored.  Additionally there are two hangers which can be used with cedar strips.  When the natural scent fades, it can be refreshed and revitalised by lightly sanding the wood and two pieces are sandpaper are supplied.  I've been successfully using cedar as a moth deterrent for 2 years and haven't had any evidence of moths during this time.  In addition to sanding my cedar, I also occasionally add a drop of cedar essential oil to enhance the scent a little further.This is a good set and very versatile with items for hanging in a wardrobe while shelves and clothing baskets are also catered for.  At £9.99 it offers fair value too.

We were noticing a few tiny holes in some very nice jumpers, which we suspected were caused by moth larvae, so ordered these to sort the problem.After clearing out the wardrobe, washing everything and getting rid of any damaged items, we placed these throughout the space. I know there are all sorts of methods of keeping the moths at bay, but absolutely my favourite and most natural method is to use cedar wood. Moths hate the smell and steer well clear. Here you have a selection of pieces: there are 2 x hanging bars, the rings are to attach to the top of hangers, and the balls can be placed in drawers. Perfect for keeping woollens hole-free. The cedar doesn't smell so strong, normally it has a wonderfully sweet and woody fragrance, but the scent can be revived by rubbing with the small piece of sandpaper provided 😊

I got this cedar wood set to help with an infestation of moths. I like the idea the set is in different shapes so I can choose where to place them. i.e. drawers, on hangers in wardrobes, and suitcases storing clothes. The first thing I noticed was the subtle smell of natural cedar without being artificial or overpowering. I like the idea that everything is protected without the use of harsh chemicals. It's also a quick easy solution, no peeling involved just set and go.

Good set of cedar parts. cedar works and repels moths and has been used for centuries. Non polluting and smells very nice of cedar as it should. Good value all round

I recently picked up this cedar wood set to protect my wardrobe and it is a much nicer alternative to smelly chemical mothballs. The variety in the 28-piece pack is really useful because you get a mix of rings, blocks, hangers, and balls that fit perfectly in different spots. I've hung the larger pieces on the rail with my wool coats and tucked the smaller cubes and balls into my knitwear drawers. The natural cedar scent is lovely and fresh without being overpowering, and it's great knowing there are no toxic fumes around my clothes or pets. I also appreciate that these are reusable since you can just lightly sand the surface every few months to bring back the aroma. It is a very simple and natural way to keep clothes safe from moths while making the whole wardrobe smell great.

I've been using the TYGA Cedar Wood Moth Repellent Set and overall, I'm really happy with it. The variety in the pack is great — the rings, blocks, hangers and balls make it easy to use across wardrobes, drawers, and storage boxes.The cedar scent is fresh and natural without being too strong, which I much prefer over chemical alternatives. It also feels like a more eco-friendly option.The only reason I've given 4 stars instead of 5 is that the scent does fade fairly quickly over time, so you may need to refresh it , which they do give instructions on how to do so. That said, it still does a great job and gives peace of mind for protecting clothes.

Eureka! A cedar wood set that smells of cedar wood the minute you open the box.. Such a lovely scent. Over the years I have purchased a number of cedar wood items but rarely do they smell of anything, let alone natural cedar.The cedar wood in this set comes in a number of shapes - small balls, small cubes, larger items to go around the hanger of your clothes etc. I'm not quite sure why all these shapes are necessary .. There are also a couple of small emery board like sheets in the box - rub the ball etc to remove the top layer of wood to reinvigorate the scent when it fades..Cedar wood is effective at keeping moths at bay (in a closed drawer of woollens for example) but on their own they wont stop an infestation. So best to get in first and start using natural cedar as soon as possible! At least it is a bio-friendly unlike many deterrents nowadays. And I find the scent heavenly - woody, not too strong, slightly sweet. I'm pleased to have found this Cedar Wood Set.
