These come in a small bag with a book mark, two elastic laces and two sets of metal ends. There were no instructions so I thought perhaps there was some guidance on the page here - there currently isn't.I've fitted a pair of these from another brand in the past but these are different. In the end I did figure it out. The steps are;Thread laces as normal.Thread a metal cap on one lace as far down as you want them to close.Tie a knot in the lace between the cap and the end of the lace as close to the cap as you can.Repeat for other side.Cut off the excess of each lace.**** the two metal ends together connecting the laces.Having done this they work pretty well. The laces are vey elastic so give plenty of stretch. They do get a little twisted when connecting the metal caps and they don't feel the best quality. Also with these once attached you can't adjust them, remove them or reuse them.For the price these are not expensive but it would be a much better product if it included some instructions.

Once I'd threaded these through my shoes I tied one end into a knot and pulled the other to tighten, tied a knot on it too and tested if they were tight enough (best to start with it being a little loose first), needed a little tightening, so another know, cut and ta dah, all done. As these are elasticated they work really well and have enough give in them so I can slip my shoes off. I think these are great and I'm going to get some moreHope my review was helpful
