If you travelled to Turkey and experience Turkish bath you will likely remember this type of file or exfoliating stone.It does remove callus and dead skin and best used after shower when skin is moist

When this first arrived, I took it out of the box to examine. It looked beautiful with a really smooth and comfortable-to-hold bamboo "handle", but when running my finger over the "business side", it seemed really sharp and I was worried that it could be too sharp and uncomfortable to just use on a regular basis on my heels to prevent cracked skin.However, once I got out of the shower and gingerly tried it, I found I had been totally wrong. It worked brilliantly and felt really good to use and gave a really good result — better than the pumice stone I normally use.I have no hesitation in recommending this to anybody who want to look after their feet.Edit:I've now been using this after every shower for over a year, and am still just as delighted with it as the first time I used it!I don't dip it in water to wash, just brush it after use, and it still looks like new. I do keep it in the original box to save damaging it and the surroundings, but may have to look for something else soon . . . . or use a lot of sticky tape on the box!Wouldn't be without it

I have a callus on my foot that's been a real pain to get rid of so was excited to try out the Ambaa Nano Glass Foot File.It arrives in a small cardboard box with instructions for use on the back and comes with a small plastic bristled brush for cleaning the file after use.The instructions say to soak your feet for 10 to 15 minutes and dry them before use so it's a great file to use after you've had a bath or shower so that the dead skin is more easily removed.I had a bath, dried my feet and went to town on the callus with the file. It removed a LOT of dead skin and I was genuinely impressed at how much better my foot felt afterwards as the callus was almost entirely gone!There aren't any cleaning instructions included so I very gently wiped the surface with a disinfecting cloth, used the included cleaning brush to remove any lingering debris and then let the file air dry.My one (very small) gripe with the file is that there are some large gaps between the glass file itself and the bamboo surrounding it which mean that you need to be extra careful about not immersing the file in water and cleaning inside the gaps after use.At the time of writing this review on 18/08/2024 the current price is £6.99 which is extremely reasonable considering that this file has almost fully removed a callus in one use that I've previously failed to remove using a pumice stone and an electric file so I'm happy to recommend it!

This is a lovely little nail file, that comes in its own plastic case. The little case makes it very handy for use when travelling, and not wanting to take a whole manicure set.The file itself feels pretty solid, and it works very well for the intended use of filing nails. I often seem to catch a nail on something, so it was great to have this to help when that happens.My other nail files are all metal ones and this felt much gentler on my nails, which can sometimes be a bit brittle. Using this, I was easily able to keep my nails smooth.I am really happy with this file.
