The car phone holder looks cute and shining. But it doesn't work well. The magnetic is so weak that I can't put my iPhone steadily onto it. My iPhone keeps dropping off from it. I don't dare to install it on my car at all.

I love this magnetic car phone holder. Very easy to install to horizontal air vent grill. Unfortunately not suitable for air vents what are with vertical grill. The holder comes with sticky metallic plate to stick it on your phone. The phone with the plate stick very strong to the holder so you no need to worry about your phone fall. The best way to remove your phone from holder is push phone down from the holder as if you will be pull it away so you more likely to peal of the metallic plate from the phone and will lead to loose glue grip. Phone will stick alone, with silicon case or case with metallic ring. Other fold cases like leather is thick so the plate will not stick to the magnet holder so make sure you know what you do and what you want. I tried other holders with with clamp, I hate them. But when I got this one, now I can recommend this to anyone who looking for quality magnetic holder and comfort of use. Hope this will help anyone to make a choice.

A handy and solidly designed car phone holder which has an excellent build quality. Fine finishing and no sharp edges. Not too heavy in weight.The clip is L shaped and it's not suitable for vent types. For my car, it just managed to get in. The holder works on magnets. The magnetism is strong and hold the phone firm and intact, doesn't fall down. If you hit by a sudden pothole, the magnet won't work with then the phone falling down in such cases.Though with the weight of the phone and the holder, the air vent window tilts down and it's not always easy to see the phone whilst driving which is a downside.Suitable for most of the modern smart phones, Abit expensive provided the end results.

The phone holder has a strong magnetic connection.There is a disc inside you can put into your thin boiler phone case and use that to connect to the holder.The clip is strong and providing your car air vent is the right type it clips on securely.I had it holding an iPhone without any issues.

I believed that I found the perfect holder...As my pictures suggest the air vent they are not straight in line, they are semi-round so the clip lips don't have the space to grab perfectly.I tried different options and the ok option will be the phone to have something to keep him in one place as the holder will not stay still on the air-vent bar or any other place in my car.I hope my review and pictures can give you an Idea.

Does not hold my phone, my phone keeps slipping off as the magnet is not strong enough, absolutely waste of money

The only reason for not giving 5 stars is because this cannot be adapted to fit universally. The magnet is strong enough to hold the average phone, satnav or DAB receiver, and does not move under normal driving conditions.

I have a Ford C-Max and the vents are a strange angle which makes finding a sturdy phone holder problematic, I managed to find a very small area between the drivers door and the wheel that will work with this product and so far it seem pretty good.

If you're planning on using the air vents as a means of securing a phone mount in your car, this is what you need.Simple to install. Sturdy build with strong spring in the clip and a magnet that holds my samsung s10 firmly in place.This could cost double the price and I'd still say it was worth the money.

Unlike other vent phone mounts this grips the flat air vents in my car really well and there is no chance of it dropping off. My Huawei P20 pro sticks really well on to the magnet which I think is good for a quite large phone. Easy to use and I have bought another for my wife's car.

This holder doesn't seem large enough to hold the phone. In theory it's a good idea to attach it to the car's air vents but in practice my phone kept falling off it. Also when you attach it to the air vent, your phone will not be at the right level to make it convenient for you to look at, so I tried attaching it with the magnet pointing up but that made it worse: the phone came off along with the holder.

Works well and have an interesting design.It is not what I was expected to be, but it was easy to use and have a great adhesion.

The magnet is very strong and holds the phone well. The clip that holds it to the air vent is also strong but could do with being a bit longer. It can fall off due to not being able to grip deep enough in the vent. Works fine if the vent is flat but less well if curved.

Really, I'd like to give 3.5 stars to this. Not great, more 'ok', but a 3 was too harsh, so rounded up.It's clearly a bit 'budget', but clips onto the vent OK (doesn't fit my car, but nothing ever fits on those vents, works fine with the work vehicles though).If your phone/case doesn't stick to magnets, there's some stainless steel, self-adhesive discs that you can attach that will help. Personally, I didn't like that look, so stuck the disc inside the case, obviously this weakened the attraction between disc & magnet on the holder, but it did keep it in place.... Just!! Hitting a hefty pot-hole, will no doubt see your phone drop to the floor in the car, so I'd like to see a stronger magnet used to safeguard against that possibility. I have a different magnetic holder which does have a stronger grasp, but it did cost significantly more.Overall, not bad, just not great.

So, I didn't realise that this requires you to glue on a separate sticky back magnetic disc on the back of your mobile to make the set up work, unfortunately this isn't practical unless you plan to have the disc on the mobile the whole time, because there's only so many times you can remove the disc before it loses adhesion. You get just one adhesive disc.

Nice looking and well presented but not strong enough magnets for my iPhone which falls off the bracket.
